Excelente segundo disco individual del guitarrista y compositor paulistano Eduardo Negrão (São Paulo, SP, 1971). En activo desde 1996, fue el vencedor del 2º Prêmio BDMG (edición de 2002) en la categoría de composición.

"It all started when he first struck the strings of his cousins guitar, at age thirteen. Edu then began studying guitar and classic guitar, with Mozart Mello and Marivaldo Carlini, respectively. In 1992, Edu studied music for four months at the Berklee College of Music, in Boston.
Edu came back to Brazil, and moved to Belo Horizonte, where he lived for eleven years. In Belo Horizonte, Edu opened music school Casa Azul. He continued studying under conductor Eduardo Ribeiro and with Rubner de Abreu and Guilherme Antônio at Fundação de Educação Artística (2000-2002).
Edu released album Tempo Bom (Apria Records, New York), with the participation of Minas Gerais musicians Chico Amaral, Juarez Moreira, Kiko Continetino, Lena Horta, Neném, Nivaldo Ornelas, Toninho Horta and direction of Yuri Popoff. The release brought immediate success: Edu Negrão received the II Prêmio BDMG-Instrumental award, as one of the best composers of 2002.
Edu then returned to São Paulo, where he played at the Jazz and Blues Festival of Guaramiranga, and was one of its finalists.
In 2005, Edu recorded his second CD in Rio, Vem Ver (Nicolosi Productions, Milano) directed by Yuri Popoff and with the participation of musicians Gilson Peranzetta, Zeca Assumpção, Márcio Bahia, Carlos Malta, Paulo Russo, Mamão and Lena Horta.
Edu once again moved, this time, to Rome, Italy, in 2006, where he performed with local artists Eddie Palermo, Rosália de Souza and Silvia Manco. Edu was interviewed by national television chain RAI Uno, together with Susanna Stivali, deemed one of the most important singers of the contemporary jazz scene in Europe.
In 2009, Edu completed his trilogy, this time in São Paulo with Verdenovo. Musicians Benjamim Taubkin, Teco Cardoso, Toninho Ferragutti, João Parahyba and Nenê took part in the album, also directed by Yuri Popoff." reverbnation.com

"Edu puts himself out there so naturally that it's hard to believe this is his first work, the compositions are light and commited to a music of rare intensity." Mauricio Gouvea (International Magazine)

"Owner of a melodic frasing, the guitar player and composer Edu Negrao really impresses us with his debuting work." Gustavo Martins (Guitar Player)
